Finally bit the bullet and spent the $5 for a pair of knitting needles. They're actually a normal size (US8) - all my mum's are differently sized, so I've been knitting with smaller needles. Blah blah blah knitting. I feel like an old lady when I talk about it. Plus, I don't know how to do anything beyond scarves yet. One day. Although even if I learn to make, say, hats, I'll never be able to wear them, because hats always look ridiculous on me. (Maybe I can learn to make a hat that actually fits my head well.
