knit knit knit pick
Blah blah blah knitting. I feel like an old lady when I talk about it. Plus, I don't know how to do anything beyond scarves yet. One day. Although even if I learn to make, say, hats, I'll never be able to wear them, because hats always look ridiculous on me. (Maybe I can learn to make a hat that actually fits my head well. Hmm.)
Probably will unravel my multi-blue ribbed scarf attempt - I can't stand the colour, it doesn't work at all for a ribbed scarf. It was good practice though (five whole feet of practice so far... it's only 3 inches wide, though, with 21 stitches a row, so that's not so bad I guess).
Next attempted project is this, only in burgundy, as it's the only solid coloured yarn I have. I need a better cable needle (I'm just using a double ended needle right now, and it's long enough to be in the way), but otherwise I think I can manage it. We'll see how it goes.
