Just returned from the premiere of Passchendaele. I think it subverted and, in many cases, exceeded every single one of my expectations. It's a beautiful, passionate and thoughtful film. Dudes! Public tickets went on sale today for the Toronto International Film Festival and I scored admission for the Monday screening of CKR's film Normal (at 9pm) and the Thursday screening of Silk (at 9am).
