If you've written a Yuletide fic that matches someone's request, you can post it in the archive. (That is, if you know who requested something like it.)

I wrote a second Yuletide fic last year for someone on my flist and just posted it to the archive after fulfilling my actual request.

Oooh! Thanks! That's very good to know - I'm sure it matches someone's request. I'll definitely hang on to the story, then, and post to the Yuletide archive.

Thank you kindly!

*applauds* That is absolutely AMAZING. I have no hat on to doff, but if I did, I would doff it in your general direction.

I have not even STARTED my Big Bang fic. *cries* I think the boys have deserted me. Why must they hate me so, nos? WHY?

*takes a bow* Thank you for the imaginary hat-doffing!

The boys don't hate you! And they haven't deserted you! They're just...percolating. And blowing each other off in a corner somewhere. Soon they shall reappear, and start to whisper a story in your ear that will BLOW everyone away! (See what I did there? *beams at you*)

If you want to knock ideas around, we could do an IM chat or something. I can help you brainstorm! And perhaps transfer some of my writerly mojo over to you. It'll be gross, but totally worth it!

Hush, you! I really want to get your story posted by early December, and that is WAY closer than May! :-)

It is REALLY DARK outside! I do not like eeet! *hides with you*

Think it's kosher to post that separately during the holiday season, as a gift for the person for whom I wrote it?Hm, well...was it, like, inspired by someone's prompt? Or you just wanted to write something in one of your offered fandoms and went ahead, and then weren't matched for that one? Or both ( ... )

Heh, it was inspired by a friend's request, but we weren't matched for it. marag suggested that I post to the Yuletide archive after I've fulfilled my primary assignment obligations. But that is a good idea - I could wait and see if I could write anything for "Yuletide Madness."

And I will definitely email you re: Yuletide. I'm glad you finally received your letter - I was going nuts after just a few hours' delay :-)
