I can't write about anything that's too far from my own life. When I write, all kinds of familiar habits and characters start to kick in. It's tough. It makes me wince. In the end, the stories are about everyone.

I sent a story I'm quite proud of to The Eloquent Atheist. Mostly I am proud of it because I really enjoyed writing it...
