If I had a time machine....
I would go back in time to my days as a whiny/Ross'n'Dawson-inspired bitch high-schooler, and kick myself square in the nuts. Then, when high-school-me asks me-from-the-future why I did that, I'll be able to say: "Because you have no idea what's going to happen to you, and what the next day will bring, so don't fucking live your life like the world is a closed box that only someone else can open. And because you deserve it, and you know you do." Then after my younger self has caught his breath, I'll hug him and say: "It won't be easy. But don't think it won't ever happen." Then I'll stick around long enough to watch a painful Dracula (or possibly Scene Night) Tech Rehearsal, because crazy shit happened those nights, and head back. If I haven't destroyed the universe, then hopefully when I get back I'll return with the motivation and focus that I'm now struggling to develop already kicked into me.
A good future-kick in the crotch was needed back then. If only the world worked that way....
