we won the superbowl and life is STILL very surreal
I just got back from the Saints victory parade that was scheduled last week, once we found out that we were going to the superbowl. That was really good enough for us. We were happy to have made it farther than the team had ever made it before, in the history of the team, as long as I have been alive. AND THEN WE WON!!! OMG!!!
Again, I am at a loss for words at trying to describe the enthusiasm that my fellow New Orleanians, including myself and my friends, are having about this very special time in our collective history.
