It's that time of year again, when people will ask what I'd like for Christmas. So, here it is.

Christmas started out white, with chilly temperatures and fresh snow from the day before. By the end of the day, it was a wet Christmas, most of the snow having thawed and left everything muddy. I hope everyone has had a merry and joyful Christmas! We did breakfast over at my parents' place, and had a couple of guests besides. Many gifts and smiles were exchanged, and a good time was had by all. The look on Mom's face when she opened the present containing her XBox 360 was priceless ( Read more... )

At our company Christmas lunch today, we were given tomorrow off (in addition to Christmas and the day after, which we already had off).

Five-day weekend, here I come! :)

Also, everyone has a stocking waiting for them by the door to grab on the way out... I wonder what's in there...

Only three more people to shop for, and I know what we're getting them, so that should go easily. Might even do part of it on my way home, assuming the weather holds.

Oh, and I need to get a white elephant gift for our company gift exchange. I'm sure that I can find something suitably horrid this weekend.

Two and a half hours to get into work today, thanks to the snow. I'm not looking forward to the commute home, and I hope I can get out an hour or two early. Rush hour is going to turn this place into even more of a parking lot than it is currently ( Read more... )
