Since I'm here and all...
Since you've last heard of me I've been extremely busy with I don't know what. Oh wait, yeah I do, SCHOOL and WORK and TRAVELLING.
- my whole month of March was consumed by my first experience as a "producer" (I use the term loosely when referenced to me). For my Advanced Production class my group is making a 20-minute mockumentary entitled "Just Take One!" centering on the lives of food samplers. Like the ones at Costco. We actually shot in a Costco for two nights, it was amazing. Mainly because I knew that if for some inexplicable reason we became trapped inside we would be able to survive for at least 2 years, 8 months minimum.
- I only actually work for money once a week which sucks because i need those dollahs but internship is getting a tad better. Still reading terrible scripts that I sometimes recommend just because I want them to actually MAKE something. Am complimented every time I go in by the gay head of the company because he likes my purses. He swears I bring a new one every time I go in. Yesterday it was the amazing red striped purse Barbie gave me as an early birthday present. That's right, early birthday present. In less than a month I'll be (eight years away from being) 30!!!
- so I went to Barcelona and it was really fun and a complete distraction from real life. Spanish boys are sleazy and French boys are hot and nice. Brits call vests tank tops and tank tops vests...crazy foreigners. Ate lots of golfres and sandwiches and rode the metro which rocked me to sleep. Also had Jessamine impregnated by Bartleby with about 700 new songs. (I'm talking ipods here.) Overall a very entertaining and productive trip.
it's 11:09 a.m. and I think I need to go read and eat lunch now. Some band Senior Recretion is playing downstairs at noon. I've never actually heard them but they asked for an add in myspace awhile ago and although I rarely add people/bands I don't know/like I went on a limb and added them because their pictures were kind of neat.
p.s. "Fever Pitch" comes out on Friday. It looks really unfunny but I can't wait to see it anyway because I've never read a script before I've seen the movie. Plus Jimmy Fallon's in it.
