I dreamt I was an architect
After being inspired by the younger Isaac I have decided to post at least once more in my trusty livejournal. Also, I am quite vain and would not like you all to forget I exist. So in the spirit of vanity, here goes nothing...
- I started a new internship last week at Maguire Entertainment but I am legally bound not to talk about it. Although if you see me in person and ask me about it I will tell all. In short though, not as fun as Flower (which is located right down the hall from the Maguire office) but I keep thinking of the choice spot it will recieve on my future resume.
- School starts in a week!!! I am taking Geology 101 (apparently I did have one more g.e. class to take), some history class, and advanced video production. I'm scared about the last one because me and Karen were such a team and I'm afraid I won't like anyone in this class and I will have to work with them. let's pray that the social part of me decides to come out.
- I went to my first show in a looong time last week (Elefant at the Henry Fonda). Wasn't blown away and was reminded why I don't go to shows anymore. Although I really wanted to go to the Troubadour last night but was unable to. Also ate at Cafe 101 beforehand and was recognized by a waitress there who knows that I always get a grilled cheese sandwich. Mind you, I haven't been to Cafe 101 since August or something and I don't ever remember being waited on by this girl. But she said I have a "recognizable face" which I've been told before. I hope that's a good thing?
- Currently I am a member of three bands, two of which I have actually practiced with. They are (in no particular order): Pillow Talk, Emoticon, and Giant Panda Dixieland Band. I have a 3-song ep for the last one, no vocals or anything. Just me and Mr. Constantin "jamming" but everyone seems to really like it. We're going to take over the world. (or just continue to have fun and record stuff.)
- That's pretty much all I have to report. Oh, and that I am flying to Spain to visit Barbie from March 24 to April 3 and am terribly excited about it. hope everyone has a nice sunday afternoon!
