I went to an advanced screening on Monday night and these are my thoughts...

First off, if you didn't know, this movie is shot in one continuous take. So if someone messed up in the middle then they'd pretty much have to start all over again. It is a remake of sorts of The Silent House which I haven't seen or read about so I don't know how close ( Read more... )

The final ratings are in for Wednesday's airing at TV By the Numbers:

9:30 FOX I Hate My Teenage Daughter 1.8/5 5.06

So it got a 1.8 rating share instead of 1.9. Needless to say, this is not good news for the show. With no critical acclaim or buzz, its odds of survival are slim. TV By the Numbers also updated its Bubble Watch last week:

The premiere of I Hate My Teenage Daughter got a decent sampling and drew a 2.8 adults rating. Not "fantastic" but nowhere near abysmal either especially considering the pummeling it has taken for months with critics and TV media.
