The premiere of I Hate My Teenage Daughter got a decent sampling and drew a 2.8 adults rating. Not "fantastic" but nowhere near abysmal either especially considering the pummeling it has taken for months with critics and TV media. Fox's not-so-anonymous-really head of scheduling lovingly mocked on Twitter. With over 75% retention out of The X Factor, even the retentionistas don't have much to work with. Yet.
