I look around the flat, empty for now. I think I like it and can imagine my furniture there. The furniture I have and the furniture I still need to buy. I was not able to get back my flat that I was living in before, so I had to find a new one. It took a little searching, but I was able to find this one. I am glad at the weather is becoming nicer. I think winter is a lovely season, especially in Scotland, with the snow all over the ground. However, it means we can practice football outside. I finish some of my work for the day and decide to write some owls to friends before I leave, since most live closer to London. I can't believe how long it has been since I have seen my friends. Since getting back, I have only seen Katie, Justin and Susan. I haven't even heard from anyone else. However, I decide to try to remedy that.

It has been awhile since I have heard from any of my friends, though I did see Charlie last week for that much needed talk. I have talked to Caley, but we always send owls back and forth. I finish my work for the day and after turning it in to Mercia, I get out more parchment and decide to send a few owls.

I blow on the wet ink, wanting it to dry before I fold it. Caley and I send owls back and forth frequently and she offered to meet me on the next Hogsmeade weekend if I want. I told her I would like to, but I didn't want to take her away from her friends, so I suggested just meeting for quick butterbeer.

I know everyone will probably still be taking it easy today. I wish that was the case, but I have owls to send. I really should think about getting an owl. I would use Mum and Dad's but Wales is far from most of them will have to. Three in England, two to Scotland.
