My dissertation is due in 16 days... FUCK! I need to get the code working, and as much of the write up finished as possible in the next week. Not impossible (I've written 5000 words before in a night when I'm on a roll) but highly difficult when I'm not sure how best to string everything together. Today I carried out my miniprep of plasmids and made up the slides I need for confocal analysis. I didn't have time to finish preparing all the pipette tips for autoclaving or to get the plates I need poured. It's been a long day at the lab, I've been preparing for a miniprep to get DNA for cloning, I've also done a TCA prep for more cloning and a genomic DNA extraction for a protein extraction.
