the meanderings of a Nix-like being..
so.. its not as easy for me to stay updated or post..
pages take forever.. I usually lose connection four, five.. a dozen times when I do log in
even my phone hardly picks up a signal (with the added bonus of no verizon store within 75 miles to even pay my bill/discontinue the bill)
but.. I do try and stay updated and read blogs
with Skita and google-monkey moving to SF.. I've had to rethink things..
I still want to move to SD.. but it will take quite a bit more to set myself up on my own straight from the gate
also.. the economy really is in the crapper.. will it slide even further?
what is the job situation in SD.. now.. granted.. the sort of job that I go for usually always exists
mostly because they suck
how fast can I find the least suckiest job.. and.. will it need some sort of card (looked on craigslist.. and.. damn.. they require cards for damn near everything)
I've already had offers of staying here (not unexpected.. cause..well. .they are family.. downside.. they actually watch fox news)
but.. this.. this here..
is way.. way.. WAY to far from anything resembling civilization
yet still it is better than the south... granted even castration is better than life in the south
the northern mid-west is home..

but.. does have to be my home.. for.. like.. forever?

Madison and Milwaukee are decently sized cities.. gaming stores and gaming communities..
decent food (not great.. but.. decent.. and..anything is better than the bile in the south)
no idea as to whether or not there is a D/s community of note.. but.. I'm sure there is
and since I am not on my own computer..
I can't really look anything up
non-private.. and.. well.. I hate to harp on it.. but.. dial-up really really sucks
I can't believe that I used to think that a 2400 baud modem was fast
at least thats what I think the computer had when I was a wee Nix-lad
hell.. even a 56k connection would seem like warp speed
can only get 28k here..
