Left, left, left, right

I have spent hours deciphering the wonders of combining c'est, il est, and elle est with quand, pourquoi, qui, quelle, quel, comment, and so on. Combine, twist, tweak, juxtapose, send the world perpendicular. The problem is when the question is posed "compléte la phrase..." and then presents a blank line followed by something like "une fille sympatique." Creative solutions are then arrived at. Q ???? une fille sympatique.
A Houellebecq, il est un auteur pour une fille sympatique.
Why would I suggest such a thing? Because I like reaching for connections.

*sigh*

I was hoping my forgotten retail acquisitions would have arrived by Friday morning. Alas, I am still without the new Muse album, a remixed Bluenote record, the Pink Panther mix (purchase because Shag did the coverart), and the Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence dvd. Patience may be virtuous, but being patient for the objects of your own self-interest seems banal and reflexive. This waiting reminds me of a molasses-esque knee-jerk reaction where you pull your hand back from the fire too late.

Hmm, I have a field test for my vision tomorrow. Another half hour spent staring at a wall clicking a little buzzer when I see a dot flash. It takes about fifteen minutes. Sounds thrilling, doesn't it. Oh, but they also stain my eyes with this fun orange/yellow stuff that makes the pupils dilate.

I look a bit like a ZLIK after the field test.
