Because I'm demanding, when a Ravelry friend of mine announced she would be opening an Etsy store for her yarns, I was all like "DO YOU HAVE PURPLE YARNS? BECAUSE I LIKE PURPLE!" and obligingly she sent me a lovely skein of purple yarn to review.

This started off as Leaflet, from Knitty (http://knitty.com/ISSUEff11/PATTleaflet.php). I felt like since it was in an Aran weight wool, it made more sense as a long-sleeved buttoning sweater, so that is what I did with it. I made it out of some amazing yarn I got at SAFF ( Read more... )

Here we are admiring a crocheted coral reef (which, incidentally, is a good way to get rid of the fun fur you've been hoarding since 2004) (making one that is, rather than admiring one. I realize that was ambiguous.)
