I didn't really want to get up at 6 am today. I didn't need to, since I'm not needed anywhere till 9. But, Leko had other ideas and wanted me up bright and early. And, you know, since he's in charge of scheduling around here, I didn't have much of a choice.

Maybe I'll take a nap this afternoon if I've got time.

Really, body? Six o'clock in the morning is when you want to wake up? Yes, I know that the sun is starting to rise and the birds singing, but I don't have to be up this early. I'm not a bird, nor do I have any early call today. I don't have to be anywhere till 10:30.

Oh well. I guess I've got time for my walk this morning.

My clock thinks too much. For some reason it's got it into its little clock brain that, even though I tell it I'm in Hawaii (and yes, it asked), I have to deal with DST. Isn't sleep wonderful? I slept for 11 hours last night. And I also napped for 2 or 3 hours yesterday afternoon. I was up maybe three hours between the two during which I managed to go to the grocery store, make dinner, and watch Project Runway and The Daily Show before falling asleep again ( Read more... )

So tired. Screw this 8 a.m. shit.

I'm babysitting my mom's puppy this weekend, so I'm in Kailua and may be online more than usual due to a lack of the rest of my stuff. But, I plan on getting all my laundry done while I'm here. And sleeping in.

There will be lots of sleeping in.

*grumble, grumble* Damn internal clock. Why in the world did it have to wake me up at 6:15 a.m.?

I didn't sleep well or enough last night, and I hope it doesn't make my day go poorly. I didn't get home from tech rehearsal from Titus until 12:15 a.m., which made me very cranky. Getting up to go to work for an 8:00 a.m. call feels really, really early. It really isn't all that early and a large section of the population has to do this every morning (I was one of them for a while). But I'm not used to it any more. I feel like my body is trying to make me catch up on sleep. Last night I slept for ten hours. The night before, for at least nine.
