coffee & caramel cream puffs
on monday, my family & i went to the city to have lunch with my uncle and aunt. they split their time between hong kong & napa but constantly travel. this was the first christmas they spent in napa in six years. we had lunch at the slanted door and i ate a really delicious salad comprised of grapefruit, jicama, red cabbage, pickled carrots, and candied pecans. it was surprisingly refreshing. my uncle and aunt used to own this really beautiful home in marin county (tiburon) and for awhile, my brother lived with them when he went to culinary school in sf. i wish they still owned it.
on a much different note, alexa chung was on jimmy fallon last night and i freaking love her. :) that is all.
