..and I heart you, too.
It really doesn't translate well but the light was so amazing.
Occupy Oakland.
The light. The reflections. I'm swooning. <3
Sticker bombed everything. I love it.
I remember seeing Gift Giver's work in Venice Beach.
The middle light is the moon.
The lighting was perfect.
For some reason, I just really like how this turned out.
we were inspired to go to Lake Merritt in an attempt to get some "epic moon shots"
Attempt #1
Attempt #2
I gave up
Epic.... reflection.... shot?
Oh you know, just the moon hiding coyly behind a branch
I spent my Sunday in Oakland. I met up with some friends at Chicken and Waffles to watch the football game but left during overtime to wander and take photos. I asked Wynene to text Alicia and Leilani: "Who won? Orange or yellow?" On a similar note, the males in my family are big football fans. It's a long week for them as they anxiously await the big game on Saturday. I really wanted to get my dad tickets to a Niners game for Christmas but the prices nearly gave me a heart-attack. Oh well, I got him a nice Northface hoody and he liked it. In any case, go Niners! Please win so my dad and brothers aren't unpleasant to be around. :)
Anyhow, the lighting yesterday was beautiful. I wish my camera was able to do it more justice but alas, it wasn't. I did the best I could though. I also stumbled upon an area I would like to photograph again in the future, preferably with a tripod and a potential model of some sort. I came home feeling very inspired.
PS - I have an Instagram now. The quality of my photos aren't the greatest because I'm using an iPod touch (no iPhone for me yet) but it's pretty nifty anyway. Since I don't have a Facebook and refuse to get one, I figure this is the next best thing? Sort of? For what it's worth, I'm absolutely hooked on Woooords, Word To Word, Word Collapse, and... Fruit Ninja. Haha! Seriously.
