I finally saw The Hunger Games last week, and I really liked it; the book was better, though(isn't that always the case?). This was one of the few times when I read the book before I saw the movie. :-) How soon 'til it's on DVD, I wonder?

It's my dad's birthday today. I got him a nice card signed by my brother and me. Would've liked to have gotten him a gift, though.

Finished reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the first time three days ago, and I'd bought Chamber of  Secrets yesterday.

While flipping through channels this morning, it occured to me that almost none of the TV networks show Saturday morning cartoons anymore. Why is that, I wonder? Maybe it's because there's all these kids' cable ( Read more... )

 Last week, I was standing in front of my bookcase looking for something to read, and realized that I've read every book I own--some more than ten times, I'm sure. So, I plan to go book shopping sometime next week. I heard so many good things about Eat, Pray, Love; it's on my must-read list.
Anything to recommend, flist?

I had two appointments today; I had a tooth filled(eww!)and an eye exam. Did some shopping, then went home. I bought the new V.C Andrews book, Secrets in the Attic. I haven't started it yet,  but I'm looking forward to it.
