He then continues, “losing Lisa.”
“Like the world had ended”
The team then brings up what defines them just before Jack offers them the Retcon.
“Coming here ...”
“... gave me meaning again.”
“You.”
This is the strongest hint that there is no relationship between Jack and Ianto. If there had been why was Ianto so surprised that what now defines him is Torchwood and Jack.
He just watches to see what reaction Jack will give to his realisation.
Jack then leans down to kiss Ianto on the forehead.
Closes his eyes and savours the moment.
He keeps his eyes shut, his head turned slightly towards Jack.
Jack then runs his other hand under his chin, cradling his head with both hands and Ianto remains still, eyes closed.
Angled towards Jack.
Once Jack removes contact with him, he opens his eyes but his body is still twisted towards where Jack was.
Jack then tells them to take the retcon to go back to how they were. The first to do so?
With no hesitation.
Did it work? Has Adam gone?
