I'm watching the thunderstorm roll in and thinking fondly back to a few weeks ago, when
dtiernan and I grabbed a big umbrella and headed down to the river for a big thunderstorm. We stood on the old concrete dock next to my office and watched the rain come at us from two different directions. We were literally at the epicenter, the point at which the seemingly solid walls of rain were approaching each other from different ends of the river. As they approached, visual landmarks disappeared in a gray blur as though being erased. It was amazing and thrilling and very, very wet. It was a great evening.
