Snow Snow Snow Snow

One hour of shoveling = one clear driveway and car.  I even dug out the garbage and recycling bins.

People in other climates scrape off their car.  At most, they brush them off.  In Wisconsin?  We shovel off our cars.  We shovel 13.3 inches of snow off our cars.  Sigh.

I tried to make a game of it this afternoon.  I'm going to bury the big ugly van our landlord stores permanently hulking next to my car.  I made some good progress today - hopefully pictures to come.  Since "the road for storms all lead to southern Wisconsin this winter," according to the Weather Central meteorologist, I think I'll have plenty of opportunity to succeed in my task this season.

I was a little peeved that my neighbor decided to clear her part of the driveway by shoveling the snow onto my part.  Not.  Cool.  Already-shoveled snow is even harder to shovel.

At least I wasn't in one of the two thousand vehicles trapped on the Interstate all night.  A few semi's jacknifed on a hill, and the hundreds of vehicles behind them were just stuck for over 10 hours.  They even called the National Guard in.  Crazy.
