Thrilling Life of a Computer Lab Consultant
Why does my computer lab shift seem to last four million hours this semester? I'm bored out of my skull and the clock seems to be super slow. I've watched two episodes of Gossip Girl and one of Bionic Woman (hello femmeslash on both of them, btw) and still I'm at loose ends.
Of course, this could have to do with the fact that my friends are all hot tubbing at U., L., & C.'s house as I sit here, responsibly earning money and desperately wishing I were there instead. I'm going to head over after my shift if they're still there, but I have my doubts. Boo.
I actually watched some football today. I know, I know, it's weird. In my defense, I was in a house with three guys and I was outnumbered. I got to see Favre break the record (does anyone else hear that in their heads as Ben Stiller mangling it into "Fav ... ruh"?). That was kind of exciting.
Okay, now I'm boring myself.
