Lots of good stuff has been happening around here, setting a good tone for 2012: Looks like I have a part-time tutoring gig at a middle school coming up, as soon as I pass the background check. I'm doing pretty well, all things considered. My hand may be a gaping horrorfest of wounds, but it doesn't really hurt much. That's probably since so many nerves got cut through, and just don't work now. Got in a bad wreck. It was my fault. Feel like an ass. Totaled the Kia. Severely lacerated hand all over, with middle knuckle wiiiide open. Got many stitches. Can't type very well with only 1 or 2 fingers usable. Lindsey's okay and just scraped up some. We had some lucky breaks, more on that when I can type again.

Argh.

Saw the final Harry Potter movie today with my family. Freakin' sweet! I assume everybody knows the story at this point, right? Even so, go see the films--they kick so much ass. I'll not belabor it too much.

Oy. Just when I thought I'd gotten my car fixed up for now, the freezing temperatures have caused the fuel lines to crack. I'm leaking gasoline all over the place at the rate of a couple gallons a night, and smelling the fumes while driving. Can't fill it up over halfway, because it just leaks out.
