SQUEE!
So, I went over to Walmart to get something for lunch and to pick up some stuff for the office. Annnnnnd....Since I was there, I *ahem* wandered over into the toy department. (Don't look at me like that!) Alas, no Barricade toys, just as there were no Barricade toys on Saturday when I checked. (And there're none available at Wal-Mart online, Target online, OR Toys R Us online. I guess Barricade really does have legions of fangirls... ;) ) BUT, they did have the "Cyber-Slammer" version of Barricade. So I bought it. Now that I've got it out of the package and figured how to lock it down in car mode, it is absolutely THE most adorable thing ever, with the possible exceptions of fuzzy teeny baby tarantulas and our forthcoming boxer puppy. It's like Chibi Barricade, all pudgy and squished end-to-end yet still recognizably Mustang-y. I *heart* it.
Barricade, of course, thinks it's the most repulsive thing ever and would like to blow it up along with the person who conceived of the thing. But tough! I wuv it and hug it and squeeze it and call it...Baby Barricade! :D
I also managed to get a "real" Barricade toy off of eBay, too. I found someone who WASN'T price-gouging on the shipping charges (I HATE THAT!) and managed to get one for $14 including shipping. Can't wait for it to arrive... 'Course, I'll have to fight with Josiah over whether or not he gets to transform it. (NOT! No touchy Barricade!)
Now to get the WST version of him, and then I'll have Barricade in all his various size permutations...
............I really have gone off the deep end, haven't I? Reminds me of when I first fell in love with Starscream, for pity's sake. Oh well. It's fun. :) So yes, I officially squee over Barricade now. God help me.
