NFL week 1 -- i cant believe its already football season...
sundays now will be filled with football games, especially watching the eagles. the giants got their asses handed to them this afternoon by the philly eagles...
im not gonna be the one to say it since i dont want to jinx em, but i hope that this year is the YEAR OF THE EAGLE!!!
so today was a chill day, and what a beautiful one at that. i didnt get to go riding because my instructor was sick and all her lessons got cancelled... and it was so beautiful out today too - perfect for riding... but oh well, at least i saved 45 dollars, sort of. then i went to cafe e with stoo and we had yummy milkshakes and chatted. next weekend we are going to east LA's since to christen C to the "magical" place and to celebrate my first saturday night off in over a year! im gonna be in pina colada heaven... mmmmm...
then i had dinner with my parents, did laundry, was going to clean(but decided that it can wait until i feel like doing it) and thats about it.
i watched the dateline episode about the guy who was stuck in a canyon for 6 days in utah and had to cut off his own arm so that he wouldnt die... holy shit - i could never do that... but he also said that not telling anyone where he was going "was dumb"...HELLO!!! dumb?!?! how about completely retarded and idiotic...
but i certainly wouldnt have gone by myself - let alone not tell anyone where i was going or thinking of going... but i do give him a lot of credit - i couldnt have done what he did....i would just been like please kill me now...
so my day tomorrow contains the following: dentist appt, therapist appt, doctor appt, NAPTIME (that will be key since the latter 2 appts will probably drain me), and then off to work... fun fun...
side note: recently finished the DaVinci Code and found it an excellent read. It's not at all what I expected, but turned out to be much more enjoyable and definitely interesting. And don't be deterred from thinking its all about god or religion - it does incorporate it, but you would be surprised to find out what different things you will learn and see... It's drama, adventure and suspense all involving history and art... its really an amazing book - im starting angels and demons and from what i heard, some people like it even better than the DaVinci Code.
