I am lucky enough to be spending 2 days at my favourite spa and am trying to figure out what I need to change once I "go back to school" ie work, next week. Our routines will change - Patrick now at Kindergarten near my work, Markus at school which is a 1km walk from our house, Alan at his office in Bern. This evening I went to my first yoga class in about 4 years (not excluding a few post birth yoga classes) at Prema Yoga in Stauffacher. I was really proud that I am made it there after first day back at work and very grateful to hubbie for wrestling our captive monkeys into bed ( Read more... )

I turned up for yoga this morning at 10am, but door was locked and no-one answered the bell. Undaunted, I came home, changed and went out for another walk/run! Fresh autumn morning air, bit stiff from yesterday, but I did it anyway :-)

This was a tough old hour (first time to yoga without baby) and it nearly finished me off :-)
buy hey, have signed up for the autumn special, so aim to go twice a week to make it worthwhile!

It was a bit of an effort this morning (bad night, plus foggy morning) but Patrick and I got to postnatal yoga at 10am just round the corner, along with new friend Laura with baby Sienna. Patrick was so asleep as I was ready to leave that I didn't want to disturb warm, cuddly, tucked up baby - but I did anyway!

This week I finally made it back to yoga - taking my first postnatal yoga class with Sibylle at Familyyoga. The yoga room is on the fourth floor of a building in Stauffacher, and has a fantastic arial view of Stauffacher and the spire of the church - very inspiring! Will miracles ever cease? For the second time this week I dragged myself to pregnancy yoga (a class at Planet Yoga this time) and had a great time. The session was longer and harder. The instructor Maya also led the post natal classes I did after Markus was born. At that time she was heavily pregnant with child no 3 and was doing beautiful yoga ( Read more... )
