We had the full thickness laceration to the cornea from a cat scratch on day nine of living here and needed every 2-4 hour treatments for two months, last month she tried to rip her dewclaw off and had cellulitis (not fat) on her foot and was limping and pathetic. Everybody seems okay today. Hopefully the threat has passed.

Off to work.

So last night a girl at work put the seed in my brain that we needed ice cream and there was talk of an ice cream run. Ten minutes later we were rounding the staffer who just got there and one of the patients appeared to have a seizure so things got chaotic and we ran him to ICU. i've been having a nice relaxing no plans kind of weekend, i'm not ready for it to end but the minutes are quickly ticking down. i've gotta get ready to head back to work in about half an hour. sigh.

Tonight we had in a Belgian Tervuren which I had never met the likes of before and she was 14 and just amazing. I'm in love all over again, I am the only one who even got a couple kisses. I feel special.
