I accidentally came across
COMET Tv, which is all sci-fi programming. It has an over-the-air presence, and it's also on Dish. On their web site, it says they're on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and more. It's free, other than some providers that require membership before you can access streaming channels.
They're doing marathons of Stargate Atlantis on Monday evenings, Stargate SG-1 on Tuesday, Babylon 5 on Wednesday, and The Outer Limits (new version) on Thursday. Looks like movies on Friday through Sunday evenings. All of these are now available in various ways, but if you're like me and often just want to have something familiar playing in the background, this is a good and free option.
Another one that's been out for a while is
H&I (Heroes and Icons), which has Star Trek: TOS, Star Trek: TNG, Star Trek: DS9, and Star Trek: Enterprise. They even had the animated series for a while. Lots of older Westerns and adventure shows, as well as more recent stuff like Numb3rs and House. This one is over-the-air, but is available on some cable system. No streaming or satellite access, but it's marathon oriented too.
