My mom's debit card number got cloned, and fraudulent charges got made. Luckily for her, she checks her account often enough to know it happened and went to the bank to dispute the charges, and the money's being refunded to her, while her debit card has been deactivated and shredded and a new one will arrive for her in a week or so.
