Sano is amazingly better. He's not quite a hundred percent, he's still a little lower energy than his brothers, but he's almost back to his old self. He's eating, drinking, grooming himself, interested in life. I've nursed a lot of sick rats, but I've never seen a rat get that sick and survive before. First of all, Merry Christmas to those celebrating it. Happy fifth night of Chaunakah for those celebrating it. And much love also to those for whom December 25 is just another day like any other. For me it is a day to contemplate a birth and a rebirth, and to share my love for all of you.

Sunday started and ended with writing, and had a whole lot of church and Nezu in a dress in between. It was good.

I thought you might be interested in seeing this video of me singing Beautiful by Linda Perry. I did this with my church on Sunday. Here's a recording of my church choir singing Keep Your Hand on the Plow. I sing the solo, although another tenor, Ethan, sings the hold ons. It's obviously not a studio quality recording. Someone at church recorded it during the service.
