I think ice cream from the Jacques Torres Ice Cream Carts is one of those things.

He is still working on an ice cream version of his Wicked Chocolate. But... the other stuff? OMG.

One of my favorite things about going to Flux Factory, is passing by El Shater, a Middle Eastern grocery on 43rd St in Queens. They have the best schwarma sandwich I've ever had (get hummus on it) and the most incredible desserts. Well, that was one of the best birthdays I've had in long time!

I came in to work to find an apricot tart on my desk from Le Pain Quotiidien (sp?) and a card from my coworkers. We ate the tart in the late afternoon.

I have become a little obsessed with pickles. See, what happened was that I was at the Greenmarket a few weeks ago, and was admiring the seed heads of garlic that a farmer was selling.
