This awesome meme brought to you by...um, thievery. Stolen from alice-montrose. ^_^

List 10 of your favorite characters from different fandoms, and ask people to spot patterns in your choices, and if they're so inclined, to draw conclusions about you based on the patterns they've spotted.

1. Weiss Kreuz - Schuldig
2. Gundam Wing - Duo Maxwell
3. Sky High - ( Read more... )

I conclude you like strong women who break out of the mold that's been built for them and make their own way.

I thoroughly agree with this assessment. Strong women are the best!

Re your lists:
You like a range of men, though you tend to favor older, somewhat contrary or quirky men. You like characters with Personality, man or women--no milquetoasts with no perspective or opinions on their lives. You also like people who can handle strange circumstances--the hells-on-earths and the fantasy/sci fi-on-earth--without warning. Your women, so far as I know, are savvy fighters in their various arenas. These are women who make a Difference.

Wow, Jonah Hex... I'd forgotten about him. I remember him from a cousin's rare (for Romania) collection of comics. *has had weird childhood*

Now, Eric Draven? He has potential! So does Vanyel, once he stops whining.

I should have done a girls list, probably... except we all know I've bee prone to liking Mary Sue types before, so I'd rather not remember about that phase of my misguided youth.

I adore Jonah Hex! Any childhood with Jonah Hex was definitely worth experiencing. ^___^

Eric Draven is amazing. And now that you mention it, Vanyl did whine. ...But I forgive him. He had kickass magic. *gleeful and slightly envious*

Now I'm curious about your Mary Sue list. I liked Anita Blake before the series went off in a strange direction, but before that...my, but I loved those novels. ♥

Anita Blake was okay at first, and then there's Vicky Nelson from Tanya Huff's Blood series.

Mary Sue list:
- Tanya Huff, Blood books - Vicky Nelson
- Anne Bishop, Black Jewels - Surreal
- Laurell K. Hamilton, Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter - Anita Blake (volumes 1-5, roughly)
- a series of self-inserted fantastic characters for every universe I enjoyed; for some, there was no internet available at the time in order to make it result in fanfic MSs, to my eternal relief!

In fact, my pen name/username comes from such a MS. She operated in the Vampire Chronicles universe, though thankfully she was short-lived. The name is all that remains of her today. ^_~

I have a few friends who swear by the Black Jewels trilogy, so it's on my to-read list. Anita Blake I've read a lot of. I'm also reading the first Vicki Nelson book, since season 1 of Blood Ties came in and the first three episodes made me ridiculously happy.

Your pen name/username comes from a MS you wrote? Now I'm curious. I liked the Vampire Chronicles (Lestat ♥!), but stopped reading after Queen of the Damned.

Dare I say that your male characters tend toward slashable? *snerk*

Also, I just got the pun about Warren's name from Sky High. That's...just wrong. So wrong.

Well, I've never tried slashing Blade or Harry Dresden...but on the whole, yes, they are. ^_^

I just got the pun about Warren's name from Sky High.

Hahaha that pun is sooooo bad! I love it! ^___^
