I was at work today, sitting in my chair, when I noticed that something felt strange around my knee.  I looked down, and a giant tear had opened up over my knee, in the leg of my pants.  Kind of sucks.  At least it wasn't somewhere else.  And it's a good thing I'm not on-air.  So it looks like I'll be going shopping this weekend, since I was sort ( Read more... )

Yeah. So the subject basically says it all. A few months ago, I mentioned an idea I had to write an RSS newsreader in Java. Since I hadn't programmed Java in a while (3 years, maybe?), I figured I would start at the beginning, and relearn Java. The day started like any other Saturday for me. I got up a little before 9, and got on the conference call for work, where we plan out the day's coverage.
