I don't know how many of you trust this "Architect" but that's beside the point. The important thing to discover is whether or not this reality is actually collapsing or not. Oh, and to investigate the barrier. I wanted to do that from the beginning, Architect notwithstanding.
I have nothing to gain by going "home". I anticipate being dropped into the middle of the Time War, with no chance of escape. Or into the ashes of Gallifrey, floating alone in space. "Home" is not an option for me. Neither, however, am I going to sit idly by in the midst of yet another world on the edge of destruction and remain here until it tips over that edge. I always escape. There has been something more unsettling than usual about this dimension recently, and I am willing to believe that what the Architect says about the barrier is the truth.
