On my way home from work, an enormous green terrier sprang on me from behind, picked me up in its mouth, and shook me like a rat. There doesn't seem to be an end to the City's surprises. At least I was finally given a break from the curses: absolutely nothing happened to me on Wednesday. Of course, it would be for a curse almost whimsical in its harmlessness.
That said, after the attack, I finally caved in to the demands of the ticking and obtained a pet. This is her.
She was an impulse buy, really. I tend to follow my whims, though, and this ginger Siberian kitten was the result. I hope I won't regret it too much later. Just let her try sharpening her claws on the furniture. I'll be calling her Masha, as it seemed appropriate. She hasn't given me cause to regret her so far, anyway.

It's really annoying. It would have to be someone actually useful who was responsible for my death. Useful and favoured by Lucy. Ah well, if he ceases to be useful, I'll take action then. Something to look forward to?

[ooc: This will be a HUGE note, sorry. The Master was told that Sylar was his button-pusher and he's cross and peevish but waiting. Also, he took into account all of the useful advice given to him by everyone on what sort of pet to get, decided on a bird or tortoise or something and went to the store. Then, the evil villain, beard-inclined, ticky-clock-loving part of himself went, "Oooh! I want a cat to stroke evilly!" and got one. Of course, being the current Master, it's a ginger kitty, rather than a black cat or a Persian. He is being really aloof about it on the network but even being a Time Lord, the Master is just as prone to
this. Which is what he's going to be unable to resist doing after writing this entry.
And despite what he thinks, he WAS affected by the curse on Wednesday. He was a werewolf, but only when the moon is full and BLUE. It wasn't.]
