On my way home from work, an enormous green terrier sprang on me from behind, picked me up in its mouth, and shook me like a rat. There doesn't seem to be an end to the City's surprises. They have no reason to.
Incidentally, if that fact is anything but casual chat or a warning, I feel obliged to warn or casually mention to you in return that if Len-Len somehow finds his way into my apartment and tries to eat Masha, I will not hesitate to shoot him. But I assume it won't come to that, of course.

That's good. I just felt the need to be certain. And I wouldn't imagine so. If anything, I think Masha's so daft she'd initiate it herself accidentally by trying to make friends. She nearly lost an eye to a pigeon attempting that earlier.

I've not even had her a day, give me time. Luckily, she's a kitten, so her mind is extremely malleable. I can make certain reactions and processes natural, without having to keep a hold on them. A little bit like a bonsai tree.
