They had met once, after it was over, on a Saturday morning.
Phoenix had asked questions, and Shelly had answered; what was it like to kill someone, did it get any easier, did he ever kill anyone he loved. Shelly’s moustache would twitch, and he would answer simply.
“Liberating.”
“Never.”
“Once.”
It seemed a strange conversation to have over ice-cream, and Phoenix said so; Shelly smiled. He had always liked chocolate chip.
When Phoenix leaned in, stealing a moustache-prickly kiss, Shelly was almost surprised. He had pushed Phoenix back, gently, and left. Phoenix smiled.
Y’know, even after everything, Neku is still such a stick in the mud; sure, he’ll smile and laugh when we’re all together, but you ask him to do anything outside his comfort zone, and he crawls right back to his old grumbly self! Even when I stomp and complain, he’ll just groan and drag his feet. Who doesn’t like bowling, really?
I mean, sure, it seems like less of a get-together and more of a date when he pulls her into a secluded corner, and when he leans up against her, and when he- mmph!
I don't think I could cut Everyone/Jonesy down to 100 words, I'm afraid. XD
And tell you what, you can have two! :D

Phoenix clutched the strange pin in his hand, glancing around the deserted streets; he’d never seen the place so empty. Maya fidgeted nervously by his side.
“…should we?” he asked.
“Yeah.” he said. “We’ve got to.”
Phoenix focused, a blue glow filling his vision, and touched one of the symbols that appeared. The weird frog-things jolted into existence, and Phoenix clenched his fists, shaking slightly as Maya was warped away to wherever she went when they fought these things.
“We’ve just got to survive…” he muttered, voice shaking as the first enemy leaped at him, eyes gleaming maliciously. “Just survive.”

Rinoa huffed, planting her hands on her hips; seriously, was this everything he had in his wardrobe? Shooting a look over at her boyfriend - yeah, just stand there, Mr. Emopants - she sighed dramatically and began sorting. Black shirt, black pants, and so much leatherOne hour later, Squall’s wardrobe was

The couch looked odd, sitting in the middle of the strange land; and for a boy who had fought fire hydrants, that was saying something. Ness frowned as Pokey - was it Pokey? - patted the couch next to him. Hesitantly, he approached. Pokey grinned.
“After all this...do you think we can be friends?”
Ness’ lips quirked. “I don’t think so, Pokey. Sorry.”
Pokey’s face fell; the land around them changed from oranges to dark purples.
“Sorry.” Pokey said, before he faded away.
Ness blinked at where Pokey had been before standing, brushing down his shirt.
