Car is done. I didn't get back in time to make it to the service station before their 5:30 closing, so I'm leaving it for an early pick up tomorrow am. They open at 7:30 and the bus can get me there that early, so no biggie ( Read more... )

Since it's so hard for me to get it the car serviced these days and since I *knew* there were a few other things that needed doing, I had the Honda place add a few things to fix along with the overheating issue. They are going to replace the thermostat and recheck the head gaskets.

The SPCA thing is semi on hold. For me anyway. I didn't hear back from the lady who was doing interviews and finally talked to my contact person there when I was on site Thursday to help with something else.
