Song of the year?
Monsta X - Beautiful
I went to my first ever kpop concert in summer - Monsta X's 'Beautiful' tour - and it's the most beautiful (ha!) memory!! (Should have written a post about it, WAS IST MIT MIR)
Album of the year?
Bobby - Love and Fall
My late summer/early autumn obsession with Bobby and his feel-good-album really left an impression - on me and all my friends ("Kiwi? You wanna drink something?" - "Bobby?Bobbybobbybobby." - "...alright."). 'I love U' still makes me smile.
Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?
I got way more into iKON thanks to Bobby, KARD really really grew on me (Hola Hola is my favourite era ;__;), EXID are worming their way into my heart and course Monsta X... so yeah. KPOP overwhelms me with its generosity.
Movie of the year?
Power Rangers (2017). I was so hyped for this film and it delivered the exact kind of goofy and colorful that I was hoping for. It was also progressive, inclusive, full of love and and wonderful and I am going to be devastated if we don‘t get at least one sequel.
TV show of the year?
I had to sift through my own tumblr month by month to see if I even watched anything this year. So far, I found „Samurai Gourmet“ (brilliant), „Black Sails“ (I haven‘t finished the fourth season yet), „Preacher“ (I liked the first season and did not finish the second one because goddamn fucking Nazis). Wow. I‘m sure I watched some more but nothing left much of an impression apparently.
Episode of tv or webisode that defined the year for you?
Thank god I get to revise my opinion from above: what defined this year is episode 6 and 7 of Monsta X‘s reality show „Monsta Xray 2“ where they reenacted a parody of Korean dramas and our kpop squad went bonkers with anticipation in the weeks before the episode finally aired. It was fun, goofy, spawned a lot of fics and they were all so pretty and I love those boys with my entire heart.
Favorite actor/actress of the year?
Pass. As seen above I apparently haven‘t wachted a single film or tv show this year so I have no clue.
Game of the year?
Final Fantasy XV and Horizon: Zero Dawn. Smashing graphics, heartbreaking stories and wonderful single player adventures. <3
Best month for you this year?
June to August. Pinku came back, we went on a low effort vacation, the kpop concert happened, we had some amazing cosplay fun… summer was great this year.
Something that made you cry this year?
Jonghyun - Only One You Need/Phantom Pain
For obvious reasons.
Something you want to do again next year?
I want to go to another kpop concert and to at least fifteen kpop parties and I want to spend more time with the kpop squad and I want to keep cosplaying and meet friends at cons and… yeah. I will be busy!
How was your birthday this year?
It was a sunday. Which I know because I was so happy I didn‘t have to spend it in the office. And that is the only thing I remember. It was a lazy day. I think.
Favorite book you read this year?
I am trying so hard to think of a book I read this year. Maybe Raven Cycle? I liked those very much. But other than that I am coming up with nada. New Year Resolution: START READING AGAIN, KIWI. OAH.
What’s a bad habit you picked up this year?
I‘m lying even more than usual and I kinda wanna stop but work keeps preventing me from doing that.

A memorable meal this year?
I went to eat sushi with my dad some weeks ago and the amount we ate was insane. I never spent so much money on food before. Also we had a nice grown-up talk. 8DD
What’re you excited about for next year?
We are planning to move and I cannot wait to be out of our old flat.
What’s something you learned this year?
I got better at Excel. I still don‘t care about it.
What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year?
My absolute willingness to move.
Favorite place you visited this year?
If you could send a message to yourself back on the first day of the year, what would it be?
You will have a really nice summer. Don‘t worry so much.

I didn‘t make any, so yes. :D

My trainer in Pokemon: Moon. Best girl, started with Popplio and loved every second of it.
Other than that… tons of characters based on idols. Hehe.
