........ok so i didn't want to watch Chihayafuru at first because I was like "it looks shiny but then why is it shojo /puts down" because yes, I am prejudiced against shojo. I have had a lot of bad experiences before, so I was kinda scarred.
But then I heard Hosoya was gonna be in it and wtf it was shiny so I tried it out anyway.
Today I am carrying a lot of feelings over it because of that. GJ self, it was a wise decision to pick it up in the first place, and ty Priest for chasing me to finish it, and ty self for actually finishing it.
So basically fsdfhdsk the main character is so cute, CHIHAYA IS ADORABLE AS A KID, THOUGH REALLY....MUDA BIJIN TO THE MAX NOW............her level of obliviousness to love makes me want to roll her into a springroll but somehow I PREFER IT LIKE THIS. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BE MOE LIKE THIS. I DO NOT WANT ANY OF THAT RIDICULOUS DOKIDOKI FEERINGS TO DESTROY THIS SHOWWWWW. Because wtf, Chihayafuru is less about TWO GUYS ONE GIRL and more about TWO GUYS ONE GIRL ONE BIG FAMILY ;___; CRIES ALL THE BROMANCE IS BAD FOR MY HEARTTTT
I mean uuu watching everyone develop and get serious about Karuta a a competitive sport. Karuta actually being damn exciting and somehow blindsiding the romansu and becoming a platform for it. Getting more teammates one by one and growing closer and getting stronger....I like seeing people move forward......
o so basically my reactions are mostly just Kjashkajshajshas VS UUUUUUURRRRHgHGHH ARATAAAAAA because while Arata aka Hosoya is away in Fukui and attaining deity-status amongst his friends, I like how he's like...not all-powerful. He's not the best at Karuta and is still SUPER FAR from being a Master. But he's good and he's so far away but he's still trying hard and i want to fluff his hair when he appears He IS SO FLUFFY AND MOEEEEE
then ep20, can i just have my heart back. ot3 life....bromance life.........arata coming back to karuta ide i wept all over it sob. him and taichi are cute. him and chihaya also cute. arata why are you so bulliable, so moe. when taichi was like "he's back. arata's back." i think i just lost it LMAO
then i cried when chihaya called arata on...christmas?? forgot the date but idk why i cried. I cried a looootttttt then all my "UUUU WHYYY WHYYYYY".
I also ship the current Master and Queen, i think their chemistry very intense.
...ok but s2 where. that was not a conclusion. ep25 cheated my feelings even though I still liked it. SEASON TWO, I NEED.
