Favorite minor character


Sugar Mountain is a complete cutie and one of my favorite characters in Steel Ball Run. She is the cutest and I love her Stand...though it isn't exactly hers.

Funny Valentine.......though in terms of 'what the hell are you doing' I guess Diavolo's kinda BAD because I still have 0 fucking clue why he wants to take over the world. At least Valentine was kinda all IM DOING IT FOR AMERICA.

Least favorite character
Funny Valentine once more. Because:
1) His ability was so ridiculous it was even worse than King Crimson, which was tbh kinda cool and amusing
2) Just when you thought it was over, lol nope (x75983759858374)
3) He did shit to my babies and I will never forgive you omfg
4) His fight was SO. GODDAMN. LONG. IT WAS BASICALLY LIKE 20-30 CHAPTERS, EACH CHAPTER'S LIKE 50 PAGES.
5) His fight kind of ruined SBR for me because he was such a horrible villain, it was severely tedious to read the back half...
6) Even Cars is less of an asshole than he is goddamn it Valentine you don't even look as good as Cars

While everyone knows I'm sort of in love with Joseph+Caesar, in terms of group dynamics it's gotta be these guys:

If we're talking canon, it HAS to be these two. Shhh i just like them a lot OK and I hardly understand why.
Must be Annasui's devotion to persistence, Jotaro/Fate's cockblocking and Jolyne's 'she's da man' attitude.

When it comes to Jonathan, I sincerely believe that no one can feel the way Dio feels towards him. I love how fanwork attempts to redeem Dio by showing much pain he feels as a result of his actions regarding his relationship with Jonathan. Somehow it's like you recognize that while this is totally Not Okay, a part of me just wants to believe in them still.

Though it was unobtainable in the end, I wish you both happiness in the next world.



My recent thing. They grew on me really fast. Stupid little shitsukoi Diego and Hot Pants being cool, aggressive and in-charge...and lmfao the things they did to each other when they decided to team up couldn't be hotter.

Great main cast, an interesting and challenging villain, and overall really beautiful relationships and feel. They grow on you like...annoying friends...
Their 青春　is something I can really spend forever reading about. Part 4 didn't feel very long at all.

Least favorite story arc
This one honestly depends on taste and all but I have two LMFAO.

First off, I didn't really enjoy Vento Aureo because it was long as hell, the assassins were made to be so interesting by pixiv and their designs that the fact they showed up only to die was REALLY ANNOYING. Plus everyone had no personality. I like Risotto because he kinda showed potential? But that's it. And Diavolo was like this contrite villain I don't even. What was the whole point of his EXISTENCE lmfao.

And then next would be Steel Ball Run...which might not be my least fav tbh but I want to complain about it.
Tthe problem is that I'm not as fond of the designs and characters in SBR - I even like Vento Aureo's better LMFAO, and I felt like I couldn't connect with the main characters AT ALL...while in Part 5, at least I liked Giorno+Mista+Bruno a whole fucking lot. In SBR I was very neutral about Johnny and Gyro despite their problems and development. SBR with its gray morality was great to explore and observe, but...overall, definitely not my favorite. STILL IT HAS REALLY GOOD INTERACTION and cute side characters and interesting Stands. But then Valentine is so annoying I am literally crying blood, he's worse than Diavolo and the boss battle was so tedious I fell asleep.

The end of Stone Ocean. Obvious spoilers.
What the fuck Pucci man why did you have to do that. Now I don't even know what happened to the universe, the whole timeline is officially fucked up - have the struggles of the Joestar bloodline been erased? There's this profound sadness and hope about the end of Part6 because...what happened to Parts 1-5? Are they really gone? And it's basically like erasing the struggles Jolyne went through in Stoen Ocean too ugkjd.

A character you would like to know more about


He showed up, nearly massacred the arc's final boss, and is the leader of this bunch of guys who betrayed the main organisation but are also going after Giorno and co.? That is a very interesting position that IMO should be developed more...like his own personal goals, motivations, involvement in the story and such. Risotto has a REALLY INTERESTING STAND (one of my favs) so it's a real pity we barely know shit about him.

Why do you love JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure?
I fell in love with its aggressively forward-moving characters, the friendships and the strong family themes that are ever-present, and Araki's sense of design. It's incredibly inspiring, and while every character isn't all 'good' or 'bad' because they all have flaws - they've managed to worm their ways into my life and now I am sunk.
