Really tired
Well, thanks to a Knoppix Linux Live CD and an 80 GB portable hard drive, I was able to retrieve everything I needed from my dying laptop. It's becoming more and more apparent to me that the problem must be with the hard drive. I just hope it's something that can be fixed by wiping it, and isn't something I'm going to have to send it in to the shop to get replaced for. At any rate, unless I forgot something, I believe I've been able to get everything off. Thank goodness. It was getting to be very stressful worrying about it. So, now I'm free to wipe it without worry. And I'm going to bed.
In other news, the FTP has broken again. *shakes fist at ISP* I called them this morning informing them of the problem and that it had previously been fixed. They said they would call me back by the end of the day, but seeing as it's now 2 a.m. the next day, I doubt that's going to happen. Hopefully they call me while I'm at work tomorrow. (Note, it's still tomorrow because I haven't gone to bed yet. Which I will now do.) Goodnight.
