Hello all, it’s Monday!
So on this particular Monday, I began my midterm week. If I’m not mistaken, Hilary has completed her midterms, whereas I am just beginning mine. I took my US History and Government exam today, which was fine besides being a pain. I couldn’t get a ride in this morning, so I had to take the regular 7:00 bus and wait for 6 hours at school with no classes until my exam began at 1. After that, I had to take the junior high late bus to get home and I was the very last one off of the bus. Thankfully, I managed to talk a little to my class president, who I don’t think I’ve spoken to more than 5 times before in my life despite the fact that he’s been in my homeroom for 3 years and is perfectly nice. To be honest, he managed to get me through that bus ride. I kid you not, I would rather have walked home than sit on a bus for forty minutes with no one to talk to but a group of kids who were speaking in unnecessarily loud voices.
I’ve been particularly nerdy this past week, as I kept thinking of things to write in my blog entry for this week and I wrote them down in a notebook I had with me. It’s pathetic, I know. If you were to look at my notebook, you’d probably gather that this week’s entry would be about as long as Inkheart (which I’m working on! Elinor just came home…that’s all I’m going to say) (Oh, and that I think I know what that writer-guy is doing), but I’m going to leave some stuff out and leave it for a rainy day…or maybe a duller week.
Things I did this week:
-I saw Avenue Q! (funniest show in the world!)
-Carried a puppy around with me for a half hour (I swear to god, I’m going to be the crazy dog lady when I’m old, like this lady)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzBVxQDtEOE-Wondered what was so great about Twitter (and found out)
-Got my first invitation to a group on Flickr (I’ve never gotten one before, it was really exciting!)
-had Nanny Nanny Rich Kid stuck in my head all week
-Got the laundry day song on my ipod!
-realized that I am probably the biggest Harry Potter nerd I know
Which reminds me of something else I wanted to propose. How about comment questions? Over at Sortofbeautiful (yes, it’s a Twilight community, but I am in no way in love with Edward Cullen. I actually rather dislike him), we did the Epic Series Re-Read, which involved a recap of the chapter which was always quite funny, followed by some comment question that were related to the chapter. I always loved those comment questions, so I thought that it might be something interesting to do over here.
Comment Questions:
1. Are you a dog person or a cat person?
2. What would you do if you had to spend 6 hours in your high school?
3. Do we want to keep the comment questions?
