My goal for last week wasn't to jump into the deep end of the pool (so to speak), but to ease myself into it by focusing on drinking more water, not eating out or getting fast food, and being more active.
I mostly succeeded. I definitely drank more water, and got out this weekend with my camera. Friday night I discovered the pretzel pizza was back at Little Caesar's so I got one of those that was absolutely NOT worth it... Did delivery on that one and well, I haven't had a doordash delivery go right in a long time. Saturday (when we got out with the camera) I ended up only eating fast food that day, but I at least got less than I normally would... like, 2 jr bacon cheese burgers and no fries instead of a dave's double with fries and nuggets (for example). The rest of the week I stuck to my goal.
This week my goal is pretty much more of the same. I'm going to be fighting with wanting that damn pizza again hoping for a better experience... its gone Sunday (fucking limited time food promotions). But, we'll see how that goes.
Otherwise, along with continuing to drink more water, not eat out, and be more active... I want to make extra effort on being more active. Maybe some frisbee golf, maybe a couple of walks along a nature trail, or just getting out with my camera some more.
The more water I drink, the less I'm enjoying my coffee. Like, I take a drink then my mouth feels nasty. This might end up having a side effect of my tapering down my caffeine. Not a goal, mind you, but probably something that wouldn't hurt especially w/ the weird heart shit.
