I found a place in L.A. that has some pretty good hair shops :D Basically, the whole block of Wilshire/La Brea.

The shop we went in is called "The Hair Shop" ( 5376 Wilshire Blvd). They have a pretty wide selection of hair extensions. Their wigs are expensive (in the hundreds because it's human hair), but the extensions we got (1" wide, 18" long) ( Read more... )

i'm having a fantastic weekend. Samahang Modern is so talented that I want to get up and dance.^^ Other than seeing the Pilipino Culture show, me and my sisters caught up on Lost and Naruto Shippuuden with some philly cheese steak pizza, popcorn, and Heineken. Buddhist temple in Chinatown. we went Sunday morning (as in the day of the New Year), so it was super crowded. An amazing amount of incense, firecrackers, and people. We usually stay home for New Year (aside from visiting family), so it was a nice change.

Thanksgiving day!! me, Jen, and mom went out to buy chicken, milk, corn, corn starch, potatos, crushed pineapple, and brown sugar to make dinner.
