I feel so wide and awake after that long shower I just had. My allergies were acting up again, I have a hunch it's the weather. I just noticed two things that I find very weird about myself. One, despite the hot summer weather, I still find myself taking pretty warm showers. Warm enough to faintly fog up my bathroom mirror. Not to mention this ( Read more... )

That's really sad, about your friend. I feel bad that he couldn't get his GPA up for the program. Did he try some of the academic counseling groups and such? Sometimes, I wish these programs wouldn't be based solely on GPA, because I mean so long as you can do the work and make the cut, who cares how great your calculus skills are or what obscure rhetorical analysis you can write up? *sigh*

Good luck becoming a veterinarian. A friend of mine is going through school for it, and she tells me it's as rigorous and demanding as med school.

Good question. I tried convincing him to go to one, but he has lost all hope. He feels "it won't make a difference," so yeah. Oh how wrong he is. Hopefully he’ll snap out of it, before it's too late. But how long will it take? That's a good point you made. Sometimes I think the requirements for some jobs are so redundant. It makes no sense, whatsoever.

Thanks for the luck friend. I'm going to need it. And yes...I can imagine its very stressful becomeing a veterinarian. :)

So don't worry, it does feel far more comfortable on the stomach for me. If I was ever in hospital then I'd find it really hard to get to sleep simply because they make you sleep on your back or side ( ... )

Oh good. I was staring to think I wasn't human, lol. And don't get me started with hospitals. Their food alone is enough to kill yah. At least they have a few game systems at the hospital here ( ... )

I agree with you that you don't give up. No matter how much I don't like my studies now, I shall pull through! :) In the end it will be worth it and I will be happy and then I can tick a finished project off my list! Yay! *Packs her books for college* Hehe

I'm just relieved that I am not the only one who can't sleep on their back. I was starting to worry, lol. Wow, you sound pretty confident like me. I feel the same towards my work. There is plenty of time to relax and reflect, but right now...it's our studies that matter most. :)

You and me both, friend. Don't worry...someday, we'll most likely grow out of most of them. Just never lose hope. :)
