back to lab
Back into the lab today; this prospect doesn't exactly fill me with enthusiasm. We have the Honours students turning up today, so guess who'll be dealing with them. Not that I mind so much it's just that with honours students comes the inevitable bitching, whining and general pettyness of the other lab-folk. Nevertheless I shall try and be friendly and helpful.
I shall also try and summon up enthusiasm for my own work and do it. I'm here now I might as well get something out of it. I wonder what I'll have done wrong despite not being here for three weeks. I need to start putting more effort into the PhD and research and all that; kinda hard when one can't summon up much enthusiasm for it, but I'll endevor to; after all more effort may mean more sucess which may equal more enthusiasm.
